Geoffrey
Geoffrey Robson
has emerged as a
force of artistic leadership
throughout the U.S.
and the state of Arkansas.
In 2017, he was awarded the Respighi Prize in Conducting
by the
Chamber Orchestra
of New York
and currently serves as
Artistic Director and
Principal Conductor
of the
Arkansas Symphony Orchestra.

His dynamic leadership of the ASO during the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in state-wide and national visibility for the organization. By overseeing an aggressive shift to virtual offerings of performances and educational content, Maestro Robson ensured the continued success of the ASO and full employment of all musicians and staff.
The orchestra’s Bedtime with Bach series, received nationwide acclaim and was featured by the Washington Post and the Kelly Clarkson Show.

As associate conductor
of the
Arkansas Symphony Orchestra,
Robson conducts over
30 performances each season including
Masterworks, Pops,
Children's Concerts,
and educational programs.

Robson also serves
as music director of the
Arkansas Symphony Youth Ensembles
and conductor of the
Arkansas Symphony
Youth Orchestra.
During his tenure with the ASYO,
the group has achieved
enormous artistic growth
and a three-fold
increase in enrollment.
The orchestra has performed
with notable artists
Midori and Rachel Barton Pine,
and performs
20 concerts annually
throughout the state.
