2017 RESPIGHI PRIZE IN CONDUCTING
Now in its sixteenth year, the Faulkner Chamber Music Festival offers an intensive, summer chamber music experience to a wide range of students in Arkansas. Robson is a founding faculty member of the festival and became Artistic Director in 2017.
As Artistic Director, he designs the curriculum, programs the FCMF summer concert series, and assembles its world class faculty.
In 2017, Robson was named winner of the Respighi Prize in Conducting, and led the Chamber Orchestra of New York in concert at Carnegie Hall.
In 2016, Robson served as music director, arranger, and lead violinist for Bonnie Montgomery's Opera, Billy Blythe, the story of young Bill Clinton. He performed on the Little Rock premiere of the work in 2016.
Robson's leadership of the ASO during the Covid-19 pandemic garnered nationwide attention and acclaim as the Bedtime with Bach online video series was released.
